ATTENTION all honorably dischrged veterans. We practice "VETERANS HELPING VETERANS"
The Caldwell County Veterans Honor Guard wants to welcome our newest member, Jim Munday, usn. We are looking forward to working with him and wish to welcome him into our family.
I would like to give a warm welcome to the newest member of the Honor Guard team, Wayne Bumgardner(usmc). We look forward to working with him in all our missions and lovingly welcome him into our family.
Found out today that the Honor Guard has been asked to do a funeral. This will be our 19th funeral since we were orginized in October of 2009, and made our debut on November 11, 2009(Veterans Day), firing the first 21 gun salute inside the city limits that anyone can remember. Our hard work and dedication have made us one of the best honor guards in the state. With the help of the Army National Guard Honor Guard Detail we hope to not only get bigger but also better. our funds are limited but we are doing what we can and when we can to honor our fighting men and women. I personally am looking forward to Memorial Day and the dedication of the Memorial at the square in Lenoir, N.C.. We have recieved nothing but good reviews and reports from the people who have seen us in action, showing that our training is paying off. It is the wish of this officer that the Honor Guard only continues to grow and improve in the days to come, good Lord willing. Thanks to every person in the Honor Guard for their work and to the NCANG for their help in all we do. God Bless you all, Richard Cline(vice commander)
